I'm hoping you can help me on my quest to find the "perfect" foundation. I have quite oily skin, acne prone (cystic) with a lot of hyper-pigmentation and scars and redness. I want as full of a coverage as I can get but I'm discovering that many full cover foundations are heavy and cakey no matter how I apply it. Is there anything you would suggest? I'm currently using revlon colorstay but am open to high-end brands as well.

I really recommend Estee Lauder Double Wear! $35 at Nordstroms or Macys

The formula is a little more thin and runny than a lot of other full coverage foundations so it feels and look lighter on the skin. Plus it’s the long lasting foundation i’ve ever used!

Also check out my post on how to not look cakey here. A lot of factors besides your foundation can cause you to look cakey, so hopefully this will help :)

Good luck love! I struggled with cystic acne, scars and oily skin all through out high school so I know how annoying it can be. If this helps at all, going on birth control really helped me because my acne was hormonal!

What's a good face moisturizer for dry skin? , lately my skin had been really dry & it looks bad in some spots with makeup on
