Attention all my age 20 and up followers!
Don’t forget to moisturize your neck and chest every time you apply your face moisturizer. Your face, neck and chest are more sensitive and age quicker than the rest of your body. You don’t want a wrinkle free face only to have your age show from the neck down! Using a moisturizer with SPF 15 & up is best.
If you start this trick in your 20’s you will thank yourself down the road, trust me ;)
Thank you! :)
Im guessing you mean highlighting with concealer and not with a shimmery cheek product! It’s pretty difficult to use a lighter toned concealer/foundation/cream to highlight with if youre already really fair. Highlighting isn’t necessary! Contouring will make the lighter areas of your face look lighter so it will pretty much create the look of highlighting for you :)
However if you are interested in contouring some really fair shades of concealer I know of are NYX HD Concealer in Poreclain
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer in Brightener
For contouring I love using 3 types of brushes. The ones listed below are more for powder contour if youre using a cream/foundation you can blend it out with a makeup sponge or a synthetic brush!
Angled Blush Brush. I like to use these brushes by using the thinner side to contour a straight line then using the more fluffy side to blend it out.
Small Contour Brush. These brushes are smaller than ordinary blush or face brushes to fit into the hollows of the cheek.
Flat Contour Brush (I honestly don’t even know what it’s called LOL, this one is by Sonia Kashuk sold at Target). This will give the most “dramatic” contouring effect because it will create a really precise line. Just make sure to blend it out!
You can even “create” your own contour brush if you have none of these using my trick here.
Rimmel Kate Moss Matte Lipstick in 107 is pretty similar! A tad less purple though
Revlon Wine Not (top swatch)
MAC Fixed On Drama is also really similar!
