Does eye primer really help with eye make-up? I don't have a problem with shadow just liner. Thanks

Eyeshadow primer will help with a few things

  • Help your eyeshadow and eyeliner last longer, no fading or creasing through out the day
  • Help eyeshadow colors show more vibrant and true to color
  • If the eyeshadow primer is tinted it can help even out the color of your eyelid hiding any veins or darkness
  • Helps eyeshadows blend better, sometimes it’s harder to blend on bare skin than it is with an eyeshadow primer

Even when I use just eyeliner on my eye lid I still like to use eyeshadow primer because it will help it last and not smudge.

If you don’t have oily eyelids then eyeshadow primer isnt really a must have :)

Yay I love a dark lip! MY FAVE!!! 1; MAC Rebel 2; Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Damned 3; Bite Cashmere Lip Cream in Bordeaux 4; Kat Von D Homegirl 5; Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Train Bleu 6; Make Up For Ever #49  BTW none of these have liners underneath! That’s why I love them! My personal favorites are 5 & 6

I loooove the Mary Lou Manizer, it’s my second favorite (first is MAC Mineralized Skinfinish in Lightscapade)

It’s a soft champagne color, not too white but not too beige so I think it will work on a wide variety of skintones from fair to deep. It does give an intense highlight, it’s not a light sheen so if you want something that is super natural this might not be for you unless you apply a very little amount. It’s very, very pigmented which will help it last forever but you do have to be a little careful when applying so you don’t apply too much. The texture is silky and buttery. Gives a glow but it’s not too sparkly, no chunky glitter. Overall its a GREAT highlighter :)

As for the Betty Lou Manizer, it’s pretty dark to use as a highlight unless you have a deeper skin tone so it can be used as a shimmery bronzer. It does give a beautiful bronze glow but If you prefer matte bronzers you won’t like it. I just find it way too shimmery to use as a bronzer. Still very smooth and silky though :)
